HEY LINK CREW LEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

How was your first couple days of school?  We hope you are having a blast in your junior/senior years.   We also hope that the Freshmen are too!!

 

So…to help them do that, we would like you to check in on them.  Please call the original Freshmen on your list to check in with them.  Even if they did not attend orientation.  We would like you to do this by Sunday, September 9.  Here are some examples of what you can say:

            *How was your first week? (relate to them.  Maybe you had a similar experience)

            *Do you like your teachers? (Maybe you had some of the same ones, tell them)

            *Did you go to the football game? 

            *Tell them about Odin’s on September 14 and what to expect and how to dress

*Tell them about Homecoming Week and all the cool stuff that happens (Friday September 21)

*Whatever else you want to talk to them about

 

 

The Field Trip is coming up soon!!  Friday is your last day to bring me a permission slip and the money.  I have 15 spots left.  After Friday, I am going to ask for a refund from the company for any spots that are left.  Here is a list of who has signed up:

 Our first meeting is on September 17.  We are hoping to be in the theatre.  But we will see.  We will be going over the rest of the year and introducing you to the Academic Follow Ups that you will be teaching in the Freshmen History classes.  The rest of the meetings are to train you on that day’s lesson.  You will be teaching lessons on the following days in different periods, September 24, October 22 and December 3. We will give you a schedule on the 17^th.   We planned them all on Monday morning collaboration days so that this will not interfere with sports.

September 17- 7:30 am  Meeting and Training

September 24- 7:30 am  Training and Teaching in classes

October 22- 7:30 am  Training and Teaching in classes

December 3- 7:30 am Training and Teaching in classes
